Why a Claude answer needs converting

Claude writes in Markdown. Select the text with the mouse and paste it into Word, and the headings arrive as plain lines, the tables turn into rows of tabbed text and the code loses its spacing.

The copy button under the answer gives you the Markdown itself. Paste that here and the viewer builds a proper Word document from it: real headings, lists, tables and code blocks.

Are tables kept?
Yes. Markdown tables become real Word tables that you can resize and edit.
