E-invoice viewer Privacy Policy

The E-invoice viewer reads your invoice files (XML, PDF or .p7m) inside your own browser. The files are never uploaded to us, so we can't see, store or share their contents.

We only receive data when you buy a pass or a subscription, and then only what's needed to take the payment and give you access.

Files and documents: none. Processing happens on your device.

Payments: when you pay, Stripe collects your name, email address, card details, billing country and, if you enter one, your VAT ID. We receive the email address, the country, the VAT ID and a Stripe customer reference. We never receive your card number.

Access keys: after a payment we create a signed access key that holds your plan, its expiry, your email address and your Stripe customer and subscription references. It's stored in your browser's local storage.

Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs of requests to our payment endpoints, including IP addresses, to keep the service secure and working.

Visit statistics: we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It records which page was viewed, the site you came from, your country, and your browser, operating system and device type. It uses no cookies and does not build a profile of you or follow you from site to site.

The tool uses your browser's local storage for: your access key, the number of free exports used today, your display preferences. This data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

We don't use cookies, advertising or cross-site tracking.

To process payments, issue receipts and VAT invoices, give you access to the paid features, handle refunds and support requests, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates process payments as our payment provider and, for card data, as an independent controller. See stripe.com/privacy.

Vercel Inc. hosts the website and provides its visit statistics.

We don't sell personal data and we don't share it with advertisers.

Payment and invoice records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period. Access keys stored in your browser stay until they expire or you clear them.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to processing, or ask for a copy. Write to support@nordicsoftware.net. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Stripe and Vercel may process data outside your country, including in the United States. They use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where the law requires them.
