Information We Collect
GainEngine may collect information you choose to provide directly — such as entries, logs, or other content you create within the App, and account information such as your email address if you create an account. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs in this App; if you subscribe, Apple handles the purchase and shares a transaction record with us so the App can confirm your subscription status.
How We Use Your Information
Any information GainEngine collects is used to provide, maintain, and improve the App, respond to support requests, and, where applicable, confirm purchases or subscriptions made through the App Store. We do not use your personal information for purposes unrelated to operating the App without your consent.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
Nordic Software does not sell your personal information. GainEngine does not use third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs — the only outside party involved in operating the App is Apple, which processes purchases and subscriptions through the App Store on Nordic Software's behalf. We do not share your personal entries or logged content with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide GainEngine and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Content you create within the App — such as entries or logs — remains on your device and is retained for as long as you keep the App installed, or until you delete it yourself. If you have an account, we retain account information for as long as the account is active, or until you request deletion.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Since most content in GainEngine is stored on your device, you can typically access, edit, or delete it directly within the App, or by deleting the App itself. If you have an account, you can request full deletion of your account and its data at any time by contacting support@nordicsoftware.net, and — where available — directly within the App's settings. Tracking Technologies
GainEngine is a native app, not a website, so traditional browser cookies don't apply. The App does not use third-party advertising identifiers or tracking SDKs of any kind.
Children's Privacy
GainEngine is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by GainEngine. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
